A fair question deserves a clear answer. A LéShay candle costs more than many candles you will find in a department store. The reason begins with our purpose. LéShay Candles was built to honor God through excellence, and that standard shapes what goes into every candle, how it is made, and how long it performs.

The Wax

Our candles are made with a proprietary coconut apricot wax blend. It is primarily plant based, with a minuscule amount of food grade paraffin added for stability and optimal fragrance throw.

This blend holds a significantly higher volume of fragrance oil than traditional waxes. Its soft composition creates a slow, even burn that extends the life of the candle, and it burns cleaner than standard soy wax, producing minimal soot.

Our luxury wax melts are made with coconut wax.

The Fragrance

Every LéShay fragrance is built from premium, essential oil infused fragrance oils. Each one is formulated without phthalates, sulfates, parabens, pesticides, or dyes.

The Wick

We use 100% cotton wicks or natural wood wicks, chosen for an even burn. Our products are never tested on animals.

The Hands Behind It

Every LéShay candle and wax melt is hand poured in small batches in the USA. Nothing is mass produced. Josephine, our three wick luxury candle, is named for our founder's mother and inspired by Proverbs 31:31, which honors the fruit of a woman's hands. We take that verse seriously in how we work.

What Burn Time Means for the Price

A candle is an investment of time as much as money. This is how our collection performs:

• Luxury Travel Candle, $24. 4 ounces, approximately 25 hours.
• Luxury Diamond Jar Candle, $48. 8 ounces, approximately 45 hours.
• Josephine Luxury Candle, $78. 16 ounces, approximately 60 hours or more.
• Lux Cylinder Candle, $95. 1 pound 2 ounces, 45 to 60 hours.
• Luxury Wax Melts, $38. 15 wax melts in each vessel. Every wax melt has a burn time of 8 to 12 hours, which provides 120 to 180 hours in total, or roughly 21 to 32 cents per hour.

Burning It Well Protects Your Investment

A few simple habits help every candle last as long as it should:

• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent soot and to extend the life of the candle.
• Do not burn your candle more than 4 hours during each use.
• Make sure there is a full melt pool across the entire top layer before extinguishing, to prevent tunneling.
